About the band!

- We're an alternative rock trio from Jakarta, Indonesia who started a band when we were in junior high school together, then broke it up because we were crap. But we stayed friends, and eventually decided to start again by forming Monkey to Millionaire (a play on the phrase "from zero to hero") in 2004. Our self-released EP from 2006 led to us and our song "Rules and Policy" being featured in the LA Lights Indiefest band competition a year later. Our full-length debut album Lantai Merah is out now. Go get it and we'll see you at our shows!

Akhirnya aku dapat the monkeys beberapa hari lalu di Pontianak, yang datang cuma 2, kata orang disctara. Uh, 30 nanti favorit. Bagusnya lagi banyak yang bahasa Indonesia, kalau mau bahasa Inggris aku lebih suka dengar Interpol, Editors, Bloc Party atau Manic Street Preachers! Selamat, Monkeys!
